Infant AM Lead Teacher: LeeAnne Petrowski

Miss LeeAnne started at our school as an assistant in the infant room. Her attention to detail, her warm personality, and her experience as a mom of twins makes her a perfect fit as our AM lead teacher in the infant room. She stays on top of all the ever-changing schedules, keeps the classroom neat and clean, and spends lots of time loving each and every baby!
Toddler Assistant: Kristyn Bresett

Miss Kristyn has been with Bright Beginnings from the very start! She began as a volunteer and has being working hard as an assistant in many of the classrooms. She's a versatile and vital member of our school!

Infant/Waddler I AM Teacher: Adam Geier

Mr. Adam has been with our school for three years and joined us with over 500 hours of volunteer service at his local Boys and Girls club daycare center.  Adam has quickly grown comfortable in every classroom. He's been an excellent substitute teacher, gym teacher, summer camp co-coordinator, assistant teacher, and most recently as our afternoon Waddler teacher, helping our newest little movers become more independent as they work on the new skills they're learning every day! He is currently co-teaching in our Infant/Waddler I room!

Preschool Teacher: Shannon Powell

Miss Shannon has been with with Bright Beginnings for three years and has worked primarily with our preschool students in both the AM and PM shifts. She is amazingly patient, loves messy projects, and 


Infant PM Teacher: Mary Cote

Miss Mary is one of our sweetest infant caregivers. She just adores our babies! If she isn't playing with a baby, she is making sure their classroom is neat and tidy. Miss Mary has many years of experience working in child care centers all over the country and we are so happy that she has chosen to join Bright Beginnings. There is no doubt that if your child is in the care of Miss Mary, they are being loved!

Program Supervisor After Care: Patricia Fagerstrom 

Miss Pat has over 13 years experience teaching preschool in the West Milford area. She has worked with children from ages 2 1/2 to 13. Pat's background is in Montessori and traditional pre-school. When she was teaching at the Montessori school she also assisted the building administrator with the day to day issues that went on at the school. She has an associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Harcum College in Pennsylvania. 

Preschool Assistant: Denise Calderone

Miss  Denise comes to use with a variety of experiences working with children. She shares her love of art as well as her experience working with children with special needs at the Pheonix Center to Bright Beginnings. Miss Denise is a wonderful assistant who shows care and compassion, yet helps each child foster independence. We are so happy to have Miss Denise with us here at Bright Beginnings!

Group Teacher: Carolyn Ackerson

Miss Carolyn spent the first part of last year as the assistant in the toddler room working hard and proving herself an amazing teacher. After learning and demonstrating her knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices, she became the lead teacher in the Toddler room. She has since become the lead in our newly-opened Waddler room and has been creating hands-on sensory experiences that allow our little ones to learn and experience their environment first hand.
Director/Head Teacher: Linda Brownlee

Miss Linda started out at Bright Beginnings as the preschool teacher. She has over ten years of teaching experience from infants through eighth grade. In addition to teaching, she's also worked in educational software design, state standards databases, and has ghost written several educational books. She holds a bachelors degree in English and teacher certification from Centenary College and has a background in Montessori and play-based curricula.
